Grab your WEFT Magazine Autumn 2026 Issue 6 for this guided zoom workshop on Sat-Sun September 19-20, 2026 10am-4pm EST and Saturday September 28, 2026 10 am-4pm EST. This workshop comes with a mailed cut of 110 grams of Cutch extract (from MAIWA) and a cone of 3/2 Beam Organic Cotton from GIST Yarn (postage included inside US). Day 1 focuses on cutch dyeing your pre-wound 2 ½ yard cotton warp and skein. Day 2 focuses on re-charging your cutch dyebath to dye additional pre-wound yarn.
Day 3 is dedicated to weaving your 8-shaft deflected doubleweave runner with cotton yarns from your stash on your pre-warped loom.
You material list and pre-workshop instructions will be emailed 24-48 hours after registration. Class size is limited to 8 participants.
Required Materials: pre-warped 8-shaft loom using 3/2 and or 5/2 cotton yarns. No natural dying experience pre-requisite, but you will need stainless steel pot and equipment dedicated to dyeing.
